Cypress Creek Preserve offers paved rides and wet-weather hiking near Land O’ Lakes
Choose the right entrance and trail before visiting the 7,400-acre preserve; entrance areas have no drinking water or restrooms.

Cypress Creek Preserve gives Land O’ Lakes residents a choice between paved multiuse paths and a larger network of natural trails. The Southwest Florida Water Management District lists roughly five miles of paved routes accessible from Pump Station Road and about 19 miles of marked hiking trails.
Choose the route and entrance before leaving home. The district warns that some hiking trails can be excessively wet at certain times of year, and water facilities inside the property have restricted areas.
Entrance areas have no water or restrooms, so bring drinking water and plan accordingly. Portable toilets are available at the equestrian and primitive campsites. The district’s official page includes trail maps, entrance instructions and reservation information for visitors planning more than a short walk.
